Where are your toys made?

Everything is hand-made in our workshop located in the Bay Area, California.

What kind of wood are your toys made of?

Our toys are made from hand-selected hard maple, cherry, ash, and hickory wood. Specifics can be found in the product description for each toy.

Are the materials used to make your toys safe?

All of our toys are made in small batches and are available for purchase during our regular product releases. When an item is sold out, the "Add to Cart" button is not visible.

How should I clean our new toys?

Simply wipe the toy with a damp cloth. Do not submerge them in water.


I don’t see an “Add to Cart” option on any products pages. How do I purchase something?

When is the next product drop?

The date and time for each sale is announced 1-2 weeks ahead of time on our public Facebook and Instagram pages, and in our Facebook VIP Group. You can also sign up for our email list to receive regular updates.

Can we purchase more than one of the same item?

Part of our our mission at Little Hedgehog Toys centers around equity, inclusion, and reparations. In order for many to enjoy our toys, we ask that our customers do not purchase duplicate items during a product release. If more than one of an item is purchased, you may receive a notification that the duplicate has been cancelled.

The toy I put in my cart disappeared. What happened?

Products added to your cart are not held and therefore not guaranteed. Between the time you add items to your shopping cart and the time you check out, one or more of the items may have sold out.

Do you offer any discounts?

At this time we do not offer any discounts. For more information about pricing, please visit our Pricing Commitment. 

What do I do if I made a mistake on my order?

We can accommodate changes to your order(s) within 24 hours if it has NOT YET been shipped.

Please always double check your personal information and shipping addresses prior to completing your order.


I placed multiple orders. Will they all ship together or in separate packages?

If you placed multiple orders, they will all be shipped together in one package. Multiple orders to the same address will ship together.

Please note, there are no refunds on shipping fees for multiple orders due to the extra processing time required.

When will my order be shipped?

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order ships. The tracking number for orders within the U.S. will include an estimated delivery day. 

Most Domestic orders are processed within 1-5 business days and 4-8 business days for International orders. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email.

It says my package was delivered but I haven't received it yet. What should I do?

Sometimes packages will be marked as delivered before they are dropped off. Please wait 24 hours to see if your items are delivered or turn up at a neighbor's address.

If you still cannot locate your package, we are happy to assist you. Please reach out to us at with your order number and we can help you with the mail carrier claim process.

What if my package is lost?

Little Hedgehog does not have control over the transport of packages once they leave our facility. However, we are here to help if your order does not arrive. Please be sure to check for delivery updates using the tracking information in the shipping notification we sent to you by e-mail to confirm that your package is not still on its way. If your package was lost in transit, please contact us at so that we may help you with the mail carrier claim process.

If my package is lost in transit, will you send me a replacement?

If your package was lost in transit, please contact us to help you with the mail carrier's claim process. If your lost items are still in stock, we are happy to work with you to re-purchase them. Unfortunately, if the items are out of stock, we will be unable to send you a replacement.

What is your return policy?

Returns, exchanges or refunds are only available in certain cases if the toy you purchased is defective (damaged) upon arrival. For additional details, please visit our Return Policy.
