Our mission is to craft high-quality, natural toys that inspire social justice through representation. We do this by keeping representation, equity, and anti-racism at the center of everything we do, from our designs to our purchasing policies. Our mission is woven into not only our business but also our everyday life and parenting. We started this shop with these values and practices, and they will continue as long as we're here.
Little Hedgehog Toys is named after our very first original animal design, which you see in the logo. The olive branch in the logo represents the healing of relationships through anti-racism work, by creating representations of BIPOC families with wooden toys.
Giveaways and anti-racism matching of purchases are a couple of ways that Little Hedgehog Toys takes accountability. We are also committed to equity practices around gender, sexuality, and family structures of all kinds by offering figures that are non-binary in title and design.
